Barton Farm is in the village of West Down. Nestled in the beautiful countryside of North Devon, the village of West Down with its 637 inhabitants is 450 feet above sea level and only 4 miles from the coast.  The heart of the village hosts a pub The Crown Inn, a community shop, a XIII century Norman church, and an old quarter with cobble-stoned pathways and quaint 17th century cottages. There is also a village green with a football pitch and playground.

Private parking for three cars and electric charging point are provided at the house. Alternative overflow parking is also available at the free public parking area a two minute walk from the property.

For those travelling by public transport the nearest train station is Barnstable. It takes 3.5 hours by train from London Paddington station (with an easy change at Exeter).

Nearest airports are Bristol (2 hours drive) and Exeter (1.5 hours drive).
